Grammar tip: Jasné is an adjective, jasne is an adverb. The expression uses the adjective form, as in “that is clear”.
In speech, the é is a long vowel. A short vowel as in jasne (=clearly) also means the n is pronounced ň… this sounds sits on the palate, between the English n and ng
sounds.
